Thirty Singapore Airlines cabin crew members are now "care ambassadors" at Khoo Teck Puat Hospital (KTPH). They are helping to fill manpower gaps in the healthcare sector arising from the COVID-19 crisis, while flights are suspended amid global travel restrictions. During their three-month secondment, SIA crew will help carry out basic care-giving procedures, serve meals and manage patients' needs in low-risk wards. In total, about 300 cabin crew members will be redeployed to public hospitals.
