The Interim bill has officially been passed. After filming it was confirmed that the funding is $310 billion for PPP and not $322 billion. This bill gives extra funding to the small businesses(in the form of PPP and EIDL grants/loans), along with more money to hospitals and more money for testing. Since this bill has passed much more time and effort will be spent to discuss and shape the phase 4 stimulus which includes proposals for the Emergency Money for the People Act which proposes $2,000 stimulus checks each month to US citizens over the age of 16. Other proposals include relieving individuals of mortgage and rent payments. Hopefully, we will get more light shed on these proposals and the likelihood of further stimulus over the following days and weeks. This would be very beneficial to many people since unemployment numbers have been increasing heavily over the last few months. What do you think of the new bill? Is it just a drop in the bucket?
