Doyali Islam is an award-winning poet and author based in Toronto. Heft is her second collection of poems; it looks at the nature of illness, pain and the sexual experience on a personal level. Islam’s book is a finalist for the 2020 Griffin Poetry Prize. Filmed at Toronto’s Harbourfront Centre.
