Sweet potatoes are one of my favourite carbohydrate foods, especially one of my favourite types of vegetables. One of the few reasons being that they are absolutely healthy and full of fibre. But Who knew that an African cuisine brought to the United States would blow me away, especially with my love for deserts. With a flavour that’s very similar to pumpkin pie, the sweet potato filling has a cheese cake filling like texture with the biscuit base. With its sweet and spicy flavour as well as its richness, this little treat will sure have you coming back for more.
