Social Distancing with My Kid: DAY 14 | Parenting Diaries | Parents

Social Distancing with My Kid: DAY 14 | Parenting Diaries | Parents It is day 14 and Parents executive editor, Julia Dennison worries that parents across the country face severe burnout if the blurring of boundaries between work and home and working odd schedules continues for too long. Having heard about moms working a 7-day week while parenting and another friend waking up at strange hours to “get ahead,” Julia refuses to normalize the situation and intentionally leaves the camera on during her Zoom meetings to show Ezzie photobombing in the background. It’s not cute. It’s representative of the situation……well maybe it’s a little cute.

But in the meantime, we all just need to talk about this more. The worst thing to do right now is to bottle everything up and normalize the situation. So comment below, parents. How are you getting through the day while staying sane?!?
