Medical professionals are facing potential shortages during Coronavirus pandemic. The University of Georgia has delivered over 200 medical face shields produced on campus to local Athens hospitals. The frames are cut with a water jet in UGA’s Instrument Design & Fabrication shop and the shields are cut by laser in the College of Engineering’s machine shop.
