Voting is one of the most important rights we have. Every adult who votes has a say that affects the entire country — selecting our leaders and determining how our country can work better for everyone.

But just because kids can't go to the ballot box doesn't mean they don't have a say.

The grassroots, student-led Kids Voting USA works with kids to help educate their communities about candidates, policies, and platforms.

'Your vote does count, it does make a difference,' says Ashley Jorgensen, a leader at the organization.

Big or small, every election is important. We all have a voice and a civic duty to make that voice heard.
