How To Arrange Music For Beginners

How To Arrange Music For Beginners This video is all about harmony and how to find the best chords to use creatively.

What matters about a note is that it triggers emotions. Any note will give you twelve possibilities (twelve emotions) that you can play against. Some chords can sound more stable and others can sound more tense.

For the purpose of this video we are going to differentiate two types of harmony: harmonies in a single key and harmonies in multiple keys. Starting from a theme that only uses seven possible notes (single key) we are going to try each one of the seven notes against it and come up with a harmony that suits the theme.
