NBA players and their corporate friends should fund reparations for the black community

NBA players and their corporate friends should fund reparations for the black community Maybe this is naive, but I should put it out there. But black people have everything we need to have everything we want. Many black #NBA and #NFL athletes earn millions per year, but most importantly, brothers in the NBA, NFL and hip-hop have access to many alleged "allies" in white and corporate America.

These allies will quickly chant "black lives matter," but are rarely prepared to write the kind of check necessary to allow black experts to repair the black community. So, I am calling for NBA, NFL, MLB athletes, rappers and others to get their "allies" to help create a $10 billion dollar fund to a) finance black-owned businesses, b) build black schools run by black educators and c) allow black people to own black media outlets.

These funds should be put together with few strings attached, allowing black experts to control these resources without outside interference. This is a tiny step, but with all of the resources and power that athletes and entertainers have, I am not sure why they never did this in the first place.
